A quiet and peaceful valley in the Hill Country of Texas is the setting for ‘Quiet Thunder’. Though the horse is mighty in strength, here he adds to the serenity of Gods creation. The scripture by the artist signature is from the book of Job, one of the oldest books in the Bible. When Job has questions as to why God does this or that, God simply says in chapter 39, verse 19:

“Hast thou given the horse strength? hast thou clothed his neck with thunder?”
