| Randy Meyer lives with his wife and three
children in Minnesota, where he is a farmer. Randy creates inspirational christian art as
well as whimsical and custom portraits in the medium of acrylic. Randy loves people and
their emotions, and he reflects this in his unique style. Randy says "My love of people and their expressive emotions have led me to a large, bold style to help convey the emotion of the moment. But why? As I searched for a purpose, my work and my life seemed more and more drawn to images of Christ. As a Christian, I am forever thankful for the many blessings the Lord has bestowed upon myself and my family. As an artist, I feel drawn to create works that would allow the viewers to connect and feel the emotional message communicated through the painting. |

| My purpose for the painting "Forgiven" is to express a feeling of empathy for our Lord and visualize the pain, suffering and sacrifice he made for all people through his death on the cross. The dark tones symbolize sin, death and the devil, while the white contrasting tones represent forgiveness of sins, faith, hope, and salvation through the grace of our Lord, Jesus Christ." |

"Mary's View" |
My rendition of "Mary's View" depicts Christ from his mother's viewpoint at the base of the cross, physically as well as emotionally. There is a peacefulness upon Christ's face as he knows this is God's will. The red flowing from Christ emphasizes the blood poured out for all people. |
| "Light of Love" (on
custom portrait page) has a spiritual meaning. The light, spreading over the mother and
child, represents God's love and protection while the mother is in silent prayer asking
God for help and guidance in raising her child in a sinful world." Randy has a degree in art and sociology and his work is available for purchase at his website: Be sure to visit his site and see the many
works he has there. You can email Randy at: |
